A few close friends already know about this, but I have been offered a job in New York City with the amazing folks at Huge Inc where I’ll be working with large scale django projects. While I regret to be leaving the amazing group at The State, I’m very excited about the opportunity that lies ahead. I’m looking forward to getting involved in the various user groups and communities in New York, and figure out which bad speech habits I’ve picked up from living in the south for 20 years. ;)

If anyone has suggestions on stuff to check out, user groups to drop in on, or anything New Yorkish, I’d love to hear them in the comments.
